I decided to post about my fun "Trick or Treat" wood block decoration. I had a lot of fun painting and decorating these. Each piece of wood started off with a base coat of black, purple or orange paint. Then on the trick blocks I added a layer of black & purple scrapbook paper, then another layer over that using drywall tape painted black, the or is purple and then the treat was covered in cheese cloth and then dabbed with a black ink pad. then to finish them off I added little bling stones on each letter.
When using them in your home you could display them a couple different way.
- My photo's show me using orange Easter grass placed around the base of the letters
- You could use a cupcake stand and place each word on a different tier and then drape: cheese cloth, Easter grass, streamers, etc. around the words and up and down the stand
- You could hang them on the wall with that white tacky stuff.
- You could glue them to the front of a door wreath.
Happy Halloween Everyone!!!
